Nature being

My first project during the first year of BA Creative Art in Aberystwyth University.

For the project, I became a dreamy like kind of monster from the woods. Through the idea I wanted to show the connection between my body, my inner self and my love for nature. At the same time, I wanted to show how much humanity is connected to nature. In my opinion, the best option to depict that, was to become a humanoid being that embodies nature. The creature I became was a muse that inspires artists to create -the same as nature is.

I was not sure if the idea of my project was well described, however, I was in love with the effect of the pictures that I took. They are very mysterious and show me in an absolutely unusual way.

The process of creating the project has taught me a lot of how to arrange a photography studio space, how important is light, emotions expressed by the model, the characterisation and costume.

I have created and arranged all the scenery and every element of the project myself.

I look at this project as a base of creativity and an important point of reflection for many of my later projects.
